Valentino Khan Dives Into Unfamiliar Territory With Techno-Inspired EP, "POWERLINE"

Valentino Khan is diving into unfamiliar territory with his new techno-inspired EP, POWERLINE.

While it may be a departure, he manages to embody the soul of the underground, capturing the essence of the high-octane warehouse feel and showcasing just how versatile his production skillset is.

Khan has enlisted Pauline Herr, Sarah De Warren, Uffie and Bipolar Sunshine to lend their talents in POWERLINE. Herr's angelic voice is masterfully incorporated into "Surrender," adding an eerie layer to the track before its pulsing beat takes over. Uffie, on the other hand, imbues an uplifting atmosphere before being brought back down to earth by a rattling Khan drop.

"Television" and "Pure Energy" serve as the only solo songs on the EP. The former is far more minimal while the latter's main focus is its frenetic synths, driving the energy higher and higher as it continues to build throughout the entirety of the track.
