Attack - Top Tracks - Feat Image Ma Sha

We caught up with Ma Sha, Kindergarten Records boss, at CRSSD Festival last month and asked her to talk us through her Top Tracks.

"I Need A Rhythm" by 28th Saint Crew

When I first started DJing, a friend gave me a box of records, and this one was in there. It’s such a classic - big tune! That heavy bassline hits every time. Honestly, it was one of the very first records I ever picked up in New York, so it holds a special place for me.

"Marks & Angles" by Nicolas Jaar

If I remember correctly, Marks & Angles came out around 2010 and a few years after I moved to New York, I saw one of Nicolas Jaar’s live sets for the first time. It completely blew me away. I’ve been listening to him ever since, and this record is just beautiful.

"The Yard Work Simulator (Remixes)" by Max Graef & Glenn Astro

Through my day job, I discovered a lot of Max Graef and Glenn Astro’s music. I’ve always loved their releases on Tartelet Records – they’re so versatile, something you can play anytime, morning or night. This Yard Work Simulator (Remixes) record, in particular, is perfect – smooth, beautiful, and a great way to start the day.

      "More D4ta" by Moderat

Another classic – More D4ta by the German duo Moderat. I actually have a second project, a band called Sha Ru, that’s released music on their label, Monkeytown Records. I’ve always been inspired by how Moderat crafts tracks that stick in your head for days. This record is no exception – it’s immersive, emotional, and just a must-listen.

"Ritual Signal EP" by Kamran Sadeghi

The last record is Ritual Signal by Kamran Sadeghi. He’s a New York–based artist I met a few years ago, and I just love his music. It’s peaceful and beautiful, but also really complex. Every time I listen to this record, I notice something new - definitely worth checking out.
