Eric Prydz Announces New [CELL] Show Coming to Hi Ibiza

Eric Prydz is brightening up your hump day with some super unexpected news. The progressive legend just announced that he will be bringing his mind-blowing new live show called [CELL] to his Hi Ibiza residency this Summer. The show was apparently created exclusively for Hi Ibiza, kicking off on June 24 and running through September 9th.

You may remember [CELL] from Eric Prydz, because the concept was first debuted to us in digital form as a part of Tomorrowland’s Around The World digital event back in 2020. The visuals from that show then became a staple of Eric’s shows ever since, whether it was a HOLO show or not.

From looking at the flier for [CELL], we think maybe the first iteration of this concept was previewed to us as VOID back in Creamfields 2019. That same concept was then adapted into [CELL] visuals which we saw in digital form in 2020 and then saw incorporated into HOLO shows after that.

Always pushing the boundaries of the audio-visual space, the Platinum-selling artist has developed [CELL] from the ground up to be a truly stunning multi-sensory experience. Designed specifically for Hï Ibiza’s cavernous Theatre, this all new event will be an exciting addition to the island. Cloaked in mystery, [CELL] needs to be seen to be believed and will take you deep into the trail-blazing world of Eric Prydz. An epic soundtrack and larger-than-life stage production will set a new benchmark for nightlife innovation. It will be interesting to see if this is a total re-imagining of that concept or what it entails. Is this the next era of Eric Prydz live shows? We shall see!
